PVD & Plating
Plating & Durability
Our jewelry is plated with gold, rose gold, or rhodium to achieve a luxurious finish.
Typical plating lifespan: 6–24 months, depending on how the jewelry is worn and cared for.
Your plating lasts longer when you:
-
avoid water, sweat, perfume, lotion
-
remove jewelry before showering or exercising
-
store pieces separately in a dry place
-
gently wipe them after use
Plating is a surface layer, so natural wear over time is normal.
Why Plating & PVD Are Not Covered as a warranty
-
Plating and PVD are surface treatments, not the base metal
-
Natural fading occurs with friction, sweat, water, and skincare products
-
Wear speed varies from person to person depending on lifestyle
-
This is a normal characteristic of plated jewelry, even in luxury brands
-
Warranty covers manufacturing defects, not expected cosmetic wear
